my fascination with capturing the raw, fleeting moments of weddings began with that middle photo of my beautiful wife. after 5 years of working everything from fashion editorials to album covers, it was my own wedding - to my own dream bride - that hooked me on documenting the marriage love story.

growing up quite similarly to Teddy from Little Women, I was quickly encouraged by my three sisters towards hopeless romanticism. by a young age, I had Pride and Prejudice - along with many other romance stories - memorized nearly line for line. my family, along with my faith in Jesus, raised me to cherish marriage as one of the most sacred and joyful celebrations of this life - an ultimate expression of love!

since photographing my wife on our special day, my approach to all weddings has been the same: to document the real moments throughout your day - frozen in time the way they actually happened. and yet, at the same time, I bring an artistic flair rooted in high fashion and editorial visuals - stemming from my experience in those industries.

weddings are about the couple - the photographer should be as well. my goal for every wedding I attend is to carry peace and joy while I work - I want each client to feel at the utmost ease around me (as much as possible on your wedding day)!

*While I offer the option for mixed medium work - digital, and film - I specialize in film photography (35mm, 120mm, polaroid, Super8, etc). By this process I am able to carry on the career and traditions of my grandfather, who operated and owned his own film studio and shot countless weddings.
